2.1. Prevent dust explosion and material oxidation
The closed-loop system usually uses inert gas (such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide) as the medium, so the whole system is under protection of inert gas during feeding, grinding, grading, conveying, separation and packaging. This design can effectively prevent dust explosion and material oxidation and improve the safety and stability during production.
2.2. Feedback Mechanism
A closed-loop system operates with continually monitoring the output during operation of ACM, and comparing it to the desired set point. The difference between the two values is error signal and it can adjust the input to the system. This feedback loop allows for real-time corrections, so it improves the stability and accuracy of the control process.
2.3. Application in automation
The closed-loop system enables automatic control during entire operation process of ACM. The automation includes equipment start and stop, status display, overload alarm and safety interlock, etc. Moreover, internal parameters, such as: temperature, oxygen content, speed of classifying wheel and feeding speed are all automatically controlled by PLC.
