Main components of air classifier mill
Feeding port:
This is where the material enters grinding chamber. It may equip with a feeding screw or pneumatic conveying system, and this can ensure steady conveying of material into the mill.
Grinding chamber:
During grinding process, raw material is fed into the grinding chamber and subjected to the high-speed rotation and shearing action of grinding rotor. This process can achieve the purpose of grinding.
Classifying wheel:
It is located above the grinding chamber to separates fine particles from coarse particles. By utilizing centrifugal force and airflow, classifying wheel can precisely control particle size according to adjusting its rotation speed.
Suction fan:
It can blow air into the mill to form airflow. The airflow can help classify and collect particles. Fine particles are brought into the collection system by airflow, while coarse particles maintain for further grinding.
Cyclone separator or dust collector:
After classification, qualified particles are carried by airflow into a cyclone separator or dust collector for collection, while unqualified particles are separated.
